-implement environmental education and wellness curriculum-lead trail groups of students varying from K-adult on trail-conduct indoor evening programs(creating communities, town-hall debate, etc.)

-Developed , tested, and implemented several novel lessons that greatly enhanced the ability of instructors to facilitate student inquiry in the field. Presented curriculum on infrared temperature guns and thermal biology at spring 2016 CAEOE conference-Teach outdoor science classes with particular emphasis on scientific inquiry and citizen science participation to ages 5th-12th grade in the Santa Monica Mountains-Gain experience with writing and conducting curriculum utilizing BEETLES framework, Common Core standards, and Next Generation Science Standards-Collaborate with coworkers to add additional activities and curriculum

-implement modifications to the camps Marine Center by improving the life support system as well as allow camp for first time to keep soft sediment organisms such as sand dollars alive-implement the use of beach seines and sediment sieves into camp's outdoor education curriculum, improving instructor and student ability to explore the biodiversity of the lagoon next to camp -Lead variety of outdoor education and team building classes for groups of approx. a dozen children from diverse backgrounds, mostly ages 5th-8th grade-accepted responsibility for stocking and leading maintenance of the camp marine center, a flow through system-Facilitated high and low ropes(site specific level 1 certification)

- Responsible for maintenance of 5000+ gallon recirculating seawater system with a variety of marine life- Communicate with general manager, fill orders, pack and ship animals- Oversee and track inventory of shipping supplies and animals- Assist with baiting and hauling lobster traps- Provide basic topside scuba diver support from boat- Collect and transport marine animals (tidepooling, hook and line, etc.) and algae as needed

-Act as the face of the Catalina Island Conservancy in public locations(front street, Avalon, Two Harbors)-Interpret and educate visitors on Catalina Island's unique history, biogeography, and wildlife utilizing various artifacts and visual aides.-Assist visitors in planning excursions into Catalina's backcountry-Answer questions about the Island itself; offered tours, the organization, and directions-Lead guided hikes and informative tours of the Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Gardens-Interact with donors and supporting groups-Deploy the new Mobile Nature Station Trailer at Boy Scout Camps on the West End
