Planned, administered and evaluated a comprehensive 24-hour a day program.~ Managed and evaluated a safety and occupational program for a wide range of safety concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations to perform complex safety responsibilities for the Brigade encompassing approximately 3500 Soldiers to include 10th SBTB Headquarters, 548th Combat Support Services Battalion, 7th Engineer Battalion, 63rd Ordnance and 91st Military Police Battalion. ~ Analyzed and resolved diverse, high risk safety hazards ensuring hazard control techniques were utilized that minimized and periodically eliminated unsafe operations that would have otherwise degraded mission capabilities during both day and night operations. ~ Advised and made recommendations on convoy operations, aerial drops, rail and port operation using risk management processes. ~ Provided expert knowledge to units involved in the building, preparation and relocating of numerous industrial work processes, specialized warehousing and material handling equipment operations ensuring appropriate fire protection and suppression systems were installed for Soldier, civilian, contractors.~ Conducted safety surveys and inspections, reported and investigated accidents. Served as accident Board President, prepared red books, conduct final out-briefs and advised the presidents and board members of other accident investigation boards of casual factors and investigative techniques and assisted them in their investigations. ~ Made recommendations for personnel and vehicle safety in logistical combat operations while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

During a 3 week deployment and numerous live fire exercises to AP Hill, no mishaps or injuries occurred. During 2D Marine Division, Safety, Commanding General Readiness Inspection, it was evaluated and reported as; No Findings and No Discrepancies, again remarkable due to their mission. This led to a unit level 2D Marine Division Safety Award.~ Served as the Director of Safety for Multi National Force-West (MNF-W). ~ Knowledge of and evaluated a wide range of occupational safety concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulation to perform complex administrative responsibilities to 19 Forward Operating Bases, Combat Outposts and one Dam. ~ Coordinated and advised MNF-W Commanding General on the safety posture. Evaluated and analyzed data; accident frequency, causes, safety survey reports, unit operations, utilization of current safety data, pre-accident and rescue planning, etc., to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the accident prevention effort at all levels of aviation, industrial, and explosive safety. These efforts contributed to a 68% percent reduction in non-battle injuries, 75% reduction in non-battle Motor Vehicle Accidents and 83% reduction in Non-battle deaths over the same period the previous year.
