I am devoted to helping people that struggle to find and retain gainful employment. This is what led me to my current job as an Operations Supervisor/Job Coach at the Deseret Industries. There I get to help individuals overcome their barriers to employment and succeed in their self-reliance goals.I started this journey as I recognized the many challenges that people face in their life, often times through no fault of their own. This is especially true of those with mental health challenges or neurodivergences which often get overlooked or sidelined in the employment process. From this recognition came a passion to make some real change in the lives of those I can help.My next steps revolve around increasing my competence in helping others overcome employment challenges. Once my skills are more solid I intend to continue to work in positions with greater reach to help as many people as possible.
