• Facilitate the bank’s commodity clients in their export requirements, providing mainly Letter of Credit (LC) confirmation and/or discounting to meet their needs• Manage the portfolio of more than 10 of these commodity clients and is responsible for the development and management of these relationships to drive revenue• Interact with the clients on a regular basis, both face-to-face and electronically, supporting them on their trade enquiries, lines reservation needs and ad-hoc requests• Coordinate with various partner banks/financial institutions for both distribution and origination needs in terms of lines availability, pricing and documentation• Craft business memos for periodic reviews on the facilities required for financial institutions located in Asia, which will be presented to Credit Risk for review• Monitor liquidity consumption to ensure that credit lines are utilized based on prior approved limits and satisfy the Risk Weighted Assets requirements set by the management• Handle the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) renewal process for the bank’s counterparties, engaging them to smoothen the renewal process• Coordinate with various departments in the bank (local and overseas branches/representative offices) to ensure smooth execution for each transaction and also to explore cross-selling opportunities
