Wrote screenplays for and with director Mathieu Kassovitz (MNP & Gaumont) and translated and subtitled Louise Michel by Gustave Kervern & Benoît Delepine.

Rewrote whole script with Mathieu Kassovitz for greenlight at 20th Century Fox. Then wrote on set at the Barandov Studios in Prague for five months as the film was taken over by the completion bondsman.

Worked with a team of subtitlers who translated and encoded subtitles of the 8 p.m. Evening News which were then sent to New York for delayed broadcast in the United States. I mention this partly because the process would be simpler today and because I believe it is important to understand the whole process of what you are doing, in so far as that is possible. Ecole Aujourd'hui, which exists to this day, is a semi-public alternative bilingual pre-school/ elementary school that draws much upon the pedagogy of Gattegno, Montessori, Freinet, and others. As teachers we were encouraged to develop a personal vision of teaching, both practical and theoretical. I taught kindergarten throughout this period and after four years combined this with the duties of co-director and trainer of teachers at the pre-school level. I also worked with older children on group learning projects and performances in film, theater, writing, and the arts. Too numerous to list here, from 1990 to the present, I have intermittently taught projects development or writing at the university and adult education levesl (Fine Arts School of Bordeaux, University of Marne-la-Vallée, Royaumont Foundation, WICE (Paris) . . . or privately organized).
