I have achieved almost all the targets I set myself at the commencement of my career - and those I have not achieved are lost in the mists of time. My main aim in my youth was to write and I consider that having 17 books to my name is ample demonstration of that achievement.My most recently published book (2020) Whistling in the Wind, my 5th book of verse, followed my poetic memorial tribute to my late daughter Emily (published two years earlier) entitled Lament for Emily all proceeds of which were donated to the Shine Cancer Support charity. I am currently engaged on an online autobiography called You Don't Apologise for Chutzpah that will describe my life in terms of the many people - celebrities and nonentities - who have crossed my path and influenced my life.
