Planned, developed, integrated and executed project management functions for transition of NASA flight and ground systems. Analyzed and integrated technical plans for ground system designs across NASA’s Constellation Program (CxP). Made recommendations on preliminary and critical designs, tests, qualifications, verification and validation, plan reviews, and mission operations associated with a variety of automated data processing systems, and equipment. Established and assessed new requirements for training, safety, integration standards, software assurance, and software tools appropriate to the unique design and operational characteristics of NASA programs/projects. Regularly prepared and presented staff studies for presentations to management. Served as a facilitator, analyst, coordinator, and advisor for the development, management, and maintenance of program mission essential tasks. Provided guidance, assistance, and advice for continuous improvement, including organizational development, human resource development, process improvement, and resources development issues; provided oversight and advice on compliance-related issues, and represent the customer, as required, at meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning for advanced technology development and support system concepts.• Co-chaired Program Level Ground Ops Support Equipment Panel to review and streamline procedures and ensure continuity• Co-founded Ground Ops Support Equipment team to communicate new/changes in procedures and cost, schedule, and risks• Established the use of Program Model Numbers, Acceptance Data Packages, certifications, and procurement checklists• Saved NASA estimated $61M by streamlining data acceptance requirements, initiating a Project Level Commonality Plan, and Verification and Validation review processes• Directed efforts using Six Sigma techniques to create a centralized web-based database to protect ITAR/Sensitive data for NASA
