My role includes; - Creating strategic partnerships with accountancy, law and other specialist firms to provide clients with an all around service. - Liaising with clients, businesses and discretionary fund managers- Managing marketing and communications - Attending meetings with asset managers and investment committee meetings - Various aspects of paraplanning - Currently studying towards the diploma in regulated financial planning

I took the opportunity to go on an international work placement in China through university. I worked directly with the operations director learning how the business functions were organised and managed. I learnt about the cultural differences and challenges that a western organisation in an eastern Asian environment can impact a company and how to manage those differences. I also closely helped the company with an audit and compliance in order to achieve the ISO 9001 certification.
