Bench Hand A/C:Formed a variety of complicated parts from flat stock or partly machinedformed material. Laid out and formed experimental or first run parts, working fromblueprints, sketches or verbal instructions. Removed dents, wrinkles, distortions, oilcans. Used Hand tools, shears, drills, presses, hammers, sandbags, form blocks, jigs andwork aids, saws, hand brakes and precision measuring instruments required to keep tightaircraft tolerances. Gear Finisher:Hand grinded and finished all types of gears, splines and sprockets.Using hand or bench type power tools, broke sharp edges, de-burred, chamfered, formedradii and finished gears to blueprint specifications. Salvaged, repaired and correctedinspection rejected parts.Saw Operator:Sized fully assembled helicopter rotors to length using both regular andcarbide infused blades. Used Fixtures and work aids to saw blade to net length. Usedmultiple band saws (sometimes in tandem), cutting wheels and routers.
