Launched the organization’s visual arts division, a mission devoted to supporting and exhibiting the work of young Texas-based artists. In my free time, I regularly curate exhibitions in various Houston-area venues, ones intent on educating the community, facilitating conversation, and helping pave the way for energetic and passionate young visual artists.

I worked in Transcend Recovery Community's Texas Men's Sober Living house as a Recovery Technician. Working in this role required consistent flexibility in dealing with diverse groups of sober men. Our program dealt equally with substance use disorder and mental illness. As a Recovery Technician, my responsibilities included providing clients with the firm footing needed to flourish in a newly sober life. In doing so, I mitigated conflict through compassionate deescalation tactics, collaborated with team members and the house Program Director to streamline communication and ensure accountability, I kept thorough records in the best interest of the clients, their family, and the staff. I assisted clients with jumpstarting their desired recovery method (12 Step Programs, Cognitive Therapy, holistic self-care initiatives, etc.). Uniquely, I worked both daytime and overnight shifts. Although the skills needed to excel in both shifts overlapped, both required unique adaptations as well. The overnight shift required implementing an added layer of accountability by ensuring client safety and taking precautionary measures to prevent overdose and other problematic activities.

Work as a graphic designer to help promote Robin Fulford's campaign for Texas Congress.

Worked as an arts contributor for OutSmart Magazine. Researched, interviewed, and wrote about Texas artist Michael Tracey, perhaps the most well-known gay artist in the state, who hosted exhibitions in every major Texas art museum during the 1980s.

Worked as the Ticketing Coordinator for the Woodlands Waterway Art Festival during 2021. In this role, I hired and managed a 20 person team of ticket sellers, coordinated internally with the ticketing software team from Los Angeles, and streamlined the ticketing process for a 20,000 person festival.
