Main client work has included tiered partnerships, corporate blockers, 1065s, C and S corporations, and high net worth 1040s, 1041s, and 709s. Experience has included the entire tax lifecycle including provision, extensions/estimates (federal, state, and international), general compliance, and return preparation (federal, state, and international). I have also been involved with multiple tax client proposals. I have served as an tax associate council founder/participant while at KPMG with the purpose of advocating for new hire (and first to second year associate) cohesion with management as well as camaraderie among new entrants to the firm to improve the workplace environment. I have also served as a transitional coach for interns as well as a mentor for our EMBARK scholars while at KPMG (Sequoia award recipient) Software experience includes work in Adobe and the Microsoft Suite, CCH, Thomson Reuters products, Bloomberg Tax products, as well as proprietary tax softwares and Chat GPT. I am comfortable with non-macro processes in Alteryx as well.

Worked under the supervision of an accounting faculty member (Dr. Olena Watanabe) for two semesters. Job responsibilities included: Hosting help lab hours (3 hrs. a week) for ACCT 386 and ACCT 387 courses, grading routine assignments as well as term projects, creating practice exams (3 in total for ACCT 386), leading exam review sessions (which included teaching accounting material for 2 hours each session to 30+ students), responding to student emails, and assisting in any other way necessary. Additionally, presented to the MAcc class on my CPA journey and was a panelist for the Accounting Executive Advisory Committee as well as a presenter for multiple masters information sessions as well.

Internship scheduled for Minneapolis, MN location (due to COVID-19, altered to virtual format)Completed two virtual group projects focused on teamwork, virtual project management, and reflection. Intern within the Finance organization, specifically the Expense Management team. Job duties involve working with Excel, Tableau, Dodeca, Alteryx, and Microsoft Suite regulary. Main tasks focused on Tableau Report creation, Alteryx process development, spreadsheet design and development, expense variance analyses for multiple business functions (with 5 to 6 Million dollars of monthly spend), risk analysis of vendors (creation of 30+ risk reports within excel using a variety of ratio and income statement based analysis to determine going concern), and instruction documentation/automation work. Major Alteryx projects included tracking hundreds of millions of external spending and grouping it by specific vendor within Tableau reporting and building modular Alteryx workflows to group and summarize 50+ excel files to create analyzable Tableau reporting to be used in conjunction with the PMO.

Worked in shipping department of university bookstore. Job responsibilities included packaging and processing online bookstore orders through shipping software, counting and moving inventory, processing merchandise to warehouse and from warehouse, driving a box truck on and off campus, and setting up merchandise displays.

Unpaid Internship during Senior Year of High School at KCOB/KRTI Radio Station. Job tasks included processing and filing receivables from advertisers, sponsors, and supporters, processing payables, and organizing, filing, creating invoices for clients. Additionally, I had the opportunity of filming social media and radio segments for the Energy 106.7 FM station.
