My background in OVC programming with USAID/Save the Children as a Household Economic Strengthening Officer under the STEER Project would prove suitable for the position you advertised for. I am tasked with preparing and providing households with technical support and guidance in the implementation of the economic strengthening component of the STEER OVC project with focus on; market assessment which include economic opportunity analyses, high-growth value chains, building financial literacy skills of households, incorporating basic marketing principles, facilitate skills training, manage group savings programs in partnership with Community Case Managers and the beneficiaries, cash transfer to most vulnerable households, household economic assessmentsand support provision to households to develop and scale up businesses for resilience against economic shocks so that these 718 households under my supervision are no longer vulnerable in the near future.
