Managed insurance claim of $54.5M to final settlement, liaising with insurers, brokers and internal/external stakeholders. ◼️ EXIT STRATEGY: Devised and implemented strategy to exit manufacturing operations in Australia (via outsource model), which included development and management of overall project plan with stakeholders; negotiation of outsourcing deals and attainment of regulatory approval for changes to operating model. Planned and managed business restructure, and developed organisational structure of future state entity, as well as exiting 130 employees and managed sale process of redundant company assets.

2IC to General Manager - Distribution | Reported to General Manager - Distribution | $35M Revenue | 140 EmployeesLed business unit financial and operational management, strategic planning, monthly and long range forecasting, annual budget development (Fiscal and CAPEX) and review and report monthly P&L results. Recruited staff and managed enterprise agreement negotiations and drafting, and spearheaded project management including warehouse set ups and closures, and new equipment installations. HIGHLIGHTS: ◼️ BUSINESS MERGER: Led seamless merger of two distribution businesses into one within six months, which included restructuring the business unit (173 FTE’s to 133 FTE’s) and rationalising the warehouse operations from three distribution centres to two with an increase in OP of $1.3M. ◼️ PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Managed the design, implementation and completion of a $2M warehouse automation expansion project resulting in a 45% increase in picking efficiency (124 to 180 lines picked per hour). ◼️ PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Implemented a new replenishment process that reduced the number of replenishments made per shift by 50%.

Performed Y2K testing for GPAC accounting software, swiftly identifying and rectifying issues prior to year-end switch over. Led successful implementation of GST software and procedures into the business.
