I have recently been working for Vodafone Automotive; I was responsible for performance evaluation of the NavTrak vehicle security products, including development support and product testing. I also supported the quality and operational staff with development projects and general product performance projects within the business, attending weekly technical review meetings with the Technical Director to report results and progress.My main duties included:1) Testing of the NavTrak tracking systems.2) Supporting the development and testing of new firmware releases.3) Holding expert knowledge in the technical characteristics and capabilities of the NavTrak products 4) Assessing performance of NavTrak products in service and reporting regularly to management on failures, causes of failure and improvement initiatives.5) Supporting product accreditations and certification.6) Testing returned product and producing the relevant 8D reports.7) Representing Vodafone Automotive in a technical capacity with suppliers, clients and internally, as required.8) Providing technical support to customer service staff based on knowledge and experience and liaising with other business colleagues as necessary to ensure that the correct advice is given and issues are resolved.I have also been involved in the interviews, selection process and training of a new test engineer.

Pump Management Division

During the academic holidays I volunteered at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust undertaking conservation work in all weather conditions on a variety of nature reserves in Coventry and Warwickshire. This included meadow cutting, path clearance/building, tree maintenance and fence repairs. During this time I learned to use a variety of machinery and I worked with many people of mixed ages and backgrounds.
