Overall in-charge of the Engineering department of the 940-key hotel. Manage the budget, expenses, operation, A&A works, predictive, preventive, repair and maintenance of the hotel's properties and equipment. Monitors the energy and water consumption and implement energy & water conservation measures. Over the last few years, successfully reduce the energy consumption (EUI) of the hotel from 321kWh/m2/year (2016) to 209kWh/m2/year (2021) without replacement of major energy usage equipment such as chillers and heat pumps while ensuring no change to hotel's ambience and guests comfort. In 2022, did an optimization project on the chiller plant to improve the plant efficiency to 0.75kW/RT from an initial of 1.10kW/RT without replacing chillers and pumps. Achieved Green Mark Gold Certification and Water Efficiency Building Certification for Carlton Hotel Singapore. Achieved Global Sustainability Tourism Council (GSTC) certification for Carlton Hotel Singapore in Feb 2024.

As the chief engineer for the Parkroyal on Pickering, I was the overall in-charge of the hotel's engineering department managing the budget, expenses, renovation, A&A work and manning of the department. I also monitored the energy usage of the hotel closely to ensure that the hotel operates efficiently.

As the Director of Sales and Operation, I oversaw the sales department to ensure healthy growth of the company business as well as managing the day-to-day operation of the company. Projects completed to date includes Wenya Bus Depot (Green roof), Aperia Tower (Green wall), V-hotel (Green wall) and Soo Kee Building (Green wall).

As the chief engineer for the Singapore Resort and Spa, I was the overall in-charge of the hotel's engineering department managing the budget, expenses, manning of the department. I also monitored the energy usage of the hotel closely to ensure that the hotel operates efficiently. During my tenure with the Singapore Resort and Spa, I managed to reduce the energy cost of the hotel by 30%.

As the ADOE of Grand Hyatt, I was in-charge of the engineering department ensuring smooth operation of the hotel. My scope of work includes predictive and preventive maintenance of all M&E and fire safety equipment in the hotel. I was also chair person for the Thrive committee driving the corporate social responsibilities and green initiatives. The hotel successfully installed and commission a Trigeneration plant and was awarded Energy Globe Award, Singapore Sustainability Award and Asean Green Hotel Award.

As a lecturer in ITE, I conducted lessons in Electrical engineering, air-conditioning systems, system and control, electronics, power electronics, plumbing and sanitary as well as energy audit. Other scope of work included organizing students and staff activities.I was also covering section head during my last year of tenure with ITE.

As the plant operation engineer, I was in-charge of the hospitals M&E systems and ensure smooth operation of the hospital. During my tenure with Gleneagles, the hospital upgraded the chiller plant and installed new code blue system in all Operating theatres.

As the facilities engineer, I was in-charge of the M&E services of the manufacturing plant. Systems included ACMV, vacuum system, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) as well as production machines.

In-charge of all the facilities in the building from car park system, ACMV system to DI system and clean rooms.

In-charge of 4 out of 7 SPEC manufacturing buildings with clean room facilities. Took care of all maintenance works for these 4 buildings from M&E services, ACMV systems to plumbing and sanitary system. Carried out planned preventive maintenance works for the buildings and machinery. Part of the energy conservation team that helped the company to achieve ISO14001, first company in Singapore to achieve this Environmental Award.

As a Sniper in the SAF, my key role was to obtain accurate information to report back to commander and took action to remove key target upon instruction given.
