    Bis Industries is a Private Equity owned business with a focus on specialized logistics, specialized equipment and fixed infrastructure across a broad range of sectors including Mining, Steel Making, Power Generation and Paper Production.The Executive team member providing operational leadership (full P&L responsibility) to a portfolio of P&L’s from specialised underground equipment; to 310t road trains hauling ROM and Product Coal; as well as Pulverised Coal Injection plants. In the case of the specialized underground equipment we were able to deliver new products, increase margins and increase market share as a result of an ambitious strategy focused on delivering commercial outcomes in concert with excellent service outcomes. I was leading a large team, and achieved very significant improvements in safety outcomes through values based leadership. Capital (Human and Economic) was recycled from underperforming P&L’s (divested or shuttered) into acquisitions and organic growth. All within a naturally dynamic private equity environment.In that time we reduced our LTIFR to zero for the Division whilst simultaneously reducing the TRIFR by 40%. Revenues have grown by circa 60% whilst margins and market share both also improved considerably.
