Upon my departure from my last successful venture, it was time to go out consulting after identifying a shortage in the market place for high level personnel with a broad range of commercial and technical experience and a proven track record.To date, clients have ranged from Drilling and Completions companies, Civil Works, Piping and Tubing, Logistics, Drilling Tools along with Technical Reviews for major Oil and Gas companies. Clients have ranged in size from $10 million dollar market value up to $25 billion dollar corporations all in the coal seam gas or oil and gas industry in Australia and SE Asia.Scope of work has ranged from operational procedural documentation, facilitation of commercial opportunities for my clients, strategic business planning and implementation, general market identification and commercial market intelligence. Technical reviews of operations in new technologies related to drilling, client attainment of satisfactory pre-qualification results to operate with major oil and gas players, technical compilation and presentation along with commercial analyses. Also assisting in compliance of client personnel and equipment within the different legislative regimes across numerous states to guarantee long term commercial success.Contracts range from short term to ongoing depending on scope.Some of the above results have been achieved by collaboration with equally qualified and well respected senior industry personnel both domestically and internationally.

I was brought on board to guarantee a successful start up for a new market entrant into the Australian Coal Seam Gas and Oil and Gas arena. During my time the company went from a total of four drilling and work over rigs to eighteen rigs signed up on long term contracts over a period of three years. This was achieved by working in combination with the board in Canada and other local senior managers (Finance, Health and Safety and Operations) to grow the business by developing contracts, commercial cases and identifying opportunity in the market place and then successfully creating a sustainable business. Pre-Qualifications were completed, tenders successfully completed and awarded, training of contracts and administrative personnel to build up the growing team and ensure long term success.

Expansion of the company's Drilling Product lines in the Australasian market through a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the oil and gas industry. This resulted in tripling the company revenues within twelve months at better than expected gross margins. Other duties involved training of operations managers along the way in financial management of the business and working in with complementary company divisions to assist in them gaining stronger footholds in the market and helping to manage and improve their customer relations through my strong customer relations and technical background.

Successful Integration and Implementation of Multiple Product Lines in North and South America in the drilling and completions areas of Weatherford Corporate division in Houston. This involved hiring and training of senior personnel to uptake roles crucial to the technical and commercial expansion of new technologies, notable Drilling with Casing which has since grown beyond initial expectations.

Helped to successfully establish a US base of Operations whilst also managing operations in the SE Asia Region. The final result of all that growth was the takeover of BBL by Weatherford International.

Managed and expanded new operations in the Drill Bit, Reamer Shoe and Casing Drilling Product lines. This entailed sales, field work, engineering and business management. The company success saw it grow from Australia into SE Asia where new product technology (Drilling with Casing) was launched successfully in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Also I established regional offices in KL and Jakarta, through technical success which translated into commercial success. This success resulted in a transfer to the USA to establish a new base of operations there.
