- Worked on maintaining the Summit application, a content management system for live streaming used by hundreds of operators across various timezones on a daily basis.- Developed and designed features to turn Summit into the source of truth by integrating with various external systems and automating operator actions during live streams, allowing operators to manage and run events from the Summit application directly and saving hundreds of hours in manual work.- Improved the user experience by creating an import function from CSV, allowing users to create channels in Summit from a spreadsheet without having to manually enter records one-by-one.- Worked on migrating Summit towards event-driven architecture, resulting in improved reliability of communication between systems and eliminating lost update records through Kafka.
