As the Program Manager for International Airlift programs, I lead diverse systems integration and modification efforts across varied spectrums of defense, commercial, and special mission systems aircraft. I will provide management of assigned personnel and overall program performance from the proposal stage, through development, into production, delivery and contract closeout.I am responsible for the financial, applicable technology, and schedule performance of assigned programs within cost limitations and established standards. I lead business capture teams, formulate capture strategies and coordinate proposal preparation for the management, technical and financial aspects of the proposal. I also manage the development of statements of work and specifications, review proposed product/service costs of suppliers, negotiate and administer of contracts/subcontracts.As the Program manager, I establish program plans and milestones and monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules. During execution of programs, I develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensures the meeting of company's contract commitments.As part of the program leadership, I work across boundaries and orchestrate actions by directing the performance of program teams and functional task elements such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions. My primary focus is on my customers’ requirements and I act as the primary customer contact on status and performance as well as anticipate and fulfill my customer needs ensuring their satisfaction and continued business.
