Duties includes:• Gathering and forwarding of sales and refunds files i.e. hot files, tickets e.t.c. to the business processing and outsource centre to ensure timely and accurate billing to debtors and other carriers• Review, verify and recommend refunds value for payments to protect revenues from over-refunds to customers.• Communicate approved incentive levels to all stations for payments to qualifying agents in accordance with signed incentive contracts.• Respond to sales and refunds processing issues and queries from the business processing centre to ensure accurate and complete processing of sales and refunds.• Prepare and provide blacklisted document report to the business processing and outsource centre to prevent revenue losses by utilization of lost tickets.• Prepare a daily sales return delivery report for business processing and outsource centre to ensure receipt and processing of refunds and sales for complete revenue reporting.• Establish and recommend override commission levels for payment to Agents to maintain good relations with GSA’s• Assist and implement IATA BSP new market testing, Agent ticketing authorization and other billing changes affecting the company to ensure compliance with sales and refunds settlement and revenue collection procedures.• Reconcile sales and refunds data processed against BSP, ALTEA and ARC reports to ensure accurate levels of reported sales.

Nairobi Head Quarters

Duties included: Allocation of sales returns and related work to the sales processing team. Monitoring processing of sales documents both manual and electronic to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordination with Bsplink users in Kenya and outside to ensure smooth running and control of access rights. Coordination with our local and foreign Bsp representatives to ensure timely posting of electronic reports. Recovery of under-reporting and over claimed commissions and discounts. Providing Agents Performance reports as required in outstations and local stations. Resolving of challenging issues within the processing team. Computing and paying out of override and incentive commissions to Travel Agents and GSA’s respectively. Computation, coordination and payment of government taxes and charges to various governments where Kenya Airways operated. Ensuring of accurate and timely processing of refunds of tickets for both internal and external Kenya Airways customers Control Cost Centre overheads to improve profitability. Review of Revenue accounting documents to ensure validity and accuracy. Implement and maintain industry regulations and developments, bilateral agreements, alliance with business partners to ensure compliance, minimize loss and maximize revenues.

Duties included: Processing of sales and refunds. Recovery of under collections on ticket sales. Recovery of commission over - claims. Coordination with Bsplink users in Kenya and outstations to ensure smooth running and control of access rights. Coordination with our local Bsp representatives to ensure timely posting of electronic reports.

Nairobi Headquarters

Duties included: Processing of Payroll for the KQ employees. Processing Sales returns and Flight manifests. Posting of stock items into the system Posting of General Ledger & Sales Ledger batches. Processing of Cargo and mail documents.
