Conigital are a self-driving vehicle company aiming to provide accessible mobility as aservice. Conigital is R&D driven, developing autonomous vehicles for the commercialmarket, providing services to controlled environments.At Conigital, I am working as a Mechanical Integration engineer, I specialise inimplementing new technology onto vehicles, including sensor suites and fixtureprojects. I am involved in rapid prototyping efforts, contributing to thedevelopment of products from conception through to fabrication. To ensure efficientand structured processes, I have taken the initiative to develop a systematic approachto frame design with the sensors used in mind. Recognising the absence of a definedthought pattern within the company, I established clear design parameters, resultingin an optimised and streamlined process. I utilise Fusion360 for modelling andprogressing the product through fabrication, working with aluminium extrusions andacrylic sheets to construct frameworks and enclosures. I employ additivemanufacturing techniques, such as 3D printing, to create custom fittings and bracketsfor sensor rigs, thus enhancing integration efficiency and reducing costs.Throughout my experience, I have acquired and refined a diverse range of skills.Notably, my CAD designing skills have undergone significant improvement, deepeningmy understanding of complex mechanisms and their applications in various designs.This growth has allowed me to create more sophisticated and innovative solutions.Additionally, I have honed my communication skills by confidently presenting mydesigns to lead engineers, the CEO, and investors. These interactions have providedvaluable opportunities to showcase the progress and potential of projects, effectivelyconveying technical information to diverse audiences. Furthermore, I haverepresented the company at numerous events and demos, enhancing myability to connect with stakeholders and build strong professional relationships
