It's nice to meet you, my name is Joseph Webber. I am a passionate Java developer, I know this because when I am not programming, I am not as happy. I enjoy difficult challenges, they give me the opportunity to go above and beyond normal expectations, although with experience I have become aware of what is possible too.I like to think of myself as a people person, which is apparently too rare in IT. Often just programming and not communicating leads to frustration for all stakeholders involved in projects. I like to try and understand problems holistically and strive for perfect solutions, perfect for the situation. Often development teams forget the first principles of Software Engineering - maintenance is the biggest cost. I discovered this first-hand when running my own business and providing ongoing support for client solutions. I am amazed in where programming has taken me, well virtually taken me. I have enjoyed working across a large sector of the corporate and government industries. If I have learnt anything over the years, it is that you never know where life will lead you. I always look forward to meeting and having a chat over coffee, I hope to meet again soon.
