-Investigated the link between sedentary lifestyles and cardiovascular health through independent blood processing of up to 50 cryovials of serum, plasma, or white blood cells per day while assisting with the Sitting with Interruptions for Total Cardiovascular Health (SWITCH) study funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH)-Trained to use lab equipment such as vicorder, BP+, Transcranial Doppler (TCD), Mindware, Capnograph, and Eye Tracking and Cognition device to better assist the lab with SWITCH and other studies -Organized, transcribed, and analyzed 1,900+ data entries for Trail Making Test (TMT) to examine the impact of sedentary behavior on executive function; results presented at the 2023 Southeast Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (SEASCM)-Operated a Transcranial Doppler (TCD) to explore cerebral blood flow

- Balanced the scheduling needs and priorities of participants, Biomedical Research Imaging Center’s (BRIC) fMRI scanners and staff, study administrators, and research assistants when independently calling, screening, and scheduling participants for the Subclinical Paranoia And Racism-Related Stressors (SPARS) study- Explored the link between racial stressors and psychoimmunology by administering the Trier Social Stress Test (TSST) to participants in the Race Related Stress Study (RRSS) - Clean physiological data from the TSST following collection to streamline data analysis - Expanded study participation by revamping SPARS and RRSS study flyers to appeal to moral responsibility by emphasizing participant contribution to health equity, highlighting financial benefits, and making the flyers more visually stimulating- Identified locations and events where target study populations might be to maximize the efficiency of in-person recruitment efforts and flyering efforts- Approached and conversed with individuals around campus for RRSS recruitment
