Mid-South Heavy Highway/Civil Transportation ($100M-$150M)Design-Build and Bid-Build ProjectsResponsible for working closely with the Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure scopes of work are completed on time and within budget. Manage a working quantity book with other engineers. Perform routine quantity takeoffs and cost builders to analyze daily production rates and forecast cost. Maintain a working schedule with over 1,600 activities within P6. This schedule is updated weekly along with a 5 week outlook that is distributed job wide to assist all personnel with immediate planning. Create monthly pay estimates to the DOT. Schedule and coordinate the work of subcontractors along with preparing their monthly pay estimates. Work closely with other engineers and assist them with developing their careers.
