Interned with ZIN Technologies, supporting projects for customers including NASA, the European Space Agency, and Aerojet Rocketdyne in a variety of applications, including deep-space electronics, International Space Station (ISS) science and crew health payloads, and space propulsion technology.- Supported ZIN work on NASA's Evolutionary Xenon Thruster-Commercial project. Designed fixture for safe assembly of the Power Processing Unit (PPU) and studied structural properties of PPU to make design changes and improve space environment survivability.- Designed components and provided project support for ISS payloads, including the Advanced Colloids Experiments (ACE) and the Human Health Countermeasures (HHC) initiative. Also helped to develop ZIN testing protocols based on NASA standards.- Supported environmental testing development and structural design for components for ESA Euclid dark matter space telescope Near Infrared Spectrometer and Photometer (NISP). Performed temperature cycle testing of prototype spaceflight components and designed test fixtures for evaluation of electronics in the spaceflight vibrational environment. - Utilized additive manufacturing technology with PTC Creo CAD design software for component prototyping and testing.
