I was originally born in Queens, NY and spent a large portion of my upbringing in the Bronx working in my family's restaurant. I recently graduated from Boston University's Sargent College in 2022, and since have become an incoming MD candidate. My path to medicine stems largely from seeing my immigrant parents navigate through the complex American Healthcare system, the numerous barriers they faced, and most of all the incredible physicians who treated them with patience, compassion, and cultural competency. Entering the field of medicine, I hope to make a lasting impact on the health of immigrant communities and underserved populations in the United States.Outside of medicine, I am a student of art and portrait drawing, a cook with three years of restaurant experience, a runner and athlete, and overall - a lover of humanity!
