I was born in the small town of Americus, GA and grew up in Oklahoma City, OK. I am a huge aviation enthusiast so its not uncommon to find me with my eyes to the sky. Nine times out of ten I can identify the planes flying above me. Although airplanes captured my heart at an early age; football has always been my second love. I played football from 3rd grade through college, and still live by values that I learned on the field. My coach, Mike Leach, had three rules he would always recite: Be the most excited to play. Be the best at doing your job. Only worry about what you can control. Although these rules didn't mean much to me then; I find myself reciting them to those around me now. As I look to move into a Sales Engineer role, I plan on bringing these rules with me. I will be the most excited to play by always bringing positive energy to work. I will be the best at doing my job by continuing to learn and always strive to be better. Lastly, I will only worry about what I can control by not waisting time or energy on what I have no control over. I will also utilize relevant skills I have gained over the years.
