Since then I have developed my teaching experience in a Higher Education setting by working for various organisations and I have lectured in various areas such as, Hospitality, Adult Education, Computer Applications, Social Media and Business. I have also worked with Equal Ireland, Ormonde College, Addiction Training Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and Summer Camp Programmes to name just a few.Since 2002 I have been an Assistant Lecturer in Athlone Institute of Technology and lecture the Business School in the area of Strategic Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Retail Planning and Design and Learning to Learn, to mention just a few subjects. To date I have lecturer 46 differend subjects. I have a particular focus on the areas of online and blended learning, the use of technology to assist learning.Since 2006 I have developed my skills as a learning technologist and Moodle Evangelist, with the Learning & Teaching Unit of AIT, where I was one of the founding members. I am known to never miss an opportunity to promote the Institute's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), known as Moodle (elearning) and I am a member of the Moodle Users Group, where different features of the VLE are used to improve the student learning environment and experience.A personal objective, is to make the third level education learning experience "a fun and enjoyable experience" through the use of technologies and online offerings in Ireland.My specialism's are:Viral marketing,Retail,Social Media,Learning Technologies.
