My skills are focused on the development and delivery of PPM professional standards across disciplines stimulating industry nationally and internationally through my engagement.I have a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering. My experience of leading national and International projects and programmes include; hybrid electrical and electronic systems, command, control and information systems, software intensive programmes, defence systems, civil works, training and education and HR solutions with various leading edge technical studies. I have also participated in various NATO studies, UK Policy, Defence Diplomacy initiatives and served as a military officer.I am a Registered Project Professional (RPP), certified International Project Management Association Projects Director (IPMA Level A), Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Association for Project Management (FAPM).With over 25 years of PPM experience and a successful track record of delivering complex projects and programmes, I have engaged widely within the PPM community in order to further the profession and moved the UK professionalism agenda forward at Board level through strategic engagement nationally and internationally.I invest a significant part of my time as a volunteer with a number of national and international bodies and committees including BSI, ISO, IPMA and APM.
