Contract: SnapAVActing as a consultant with one of TapQA’s clients, SnapAV, which is a leading manufacturer and primary source of A/V, surveillance, networking and remote management products for professional integrators. Duties include:- Writing test cases in TestRail and running test suites whenever a new firmware is released for one of SnapAV’s products making sure to test the API first with Postman before releasing the firmware to the main SnapAV platform, OvrC. - Quickly responding to any tickets sent back by the client from our Jira board by researching the issue, digging into the API to properly locate the cause of the problem and then sharing my findings with as much description as possible. - Providing support for an automation script that tests the UI of SnapAV’s primary application called OvrC. Using CucumberJS and Chai for writing functions and Selenium, WebdriverIO and Node let me write easy to understand steps that can be updated by anyone familiar with the script.- Testing API backend functionality with Postman

Primarily focused on testing video game software such as Call of Duty which in total has sold 250 million copies for $15 billion dollars. The team is constantly shifting priorities and meeting or exceeding the companies’ high demands to produce a quality product for a very enthusiastic fan base that have come to expect the best possible experience every time they play the game.

HyVee is dedicated to giving the customer the best possible experience by making sure that HyVee employees go the extra mile and assist customers to make sure they get exactly the level of service the customer requires. Responsibilities include Point-Of-Sale purchases with multiple tablet style computers, assisting customers with gasoline purchases, making all the hot and cold foods provided, stocking the shelves and cooler with various food and beverage options, making repairs to car wash area when needed, and working with detail orientated inventory systems.

BounceTribe was a website where users could record and share music with other users. Users could connect and take sections of music that have been recorded by other artists and build a song. My role was to help build and maintain the user portal focusing specifically on audio engineering techniques learned from McNally Smith.

Solo Project - SoundBoardAs a guitar teacher I would always get frustrated when a student wouldn’t take time practicing guitar at home. Soundboard gives a student an interface where they can input the name of a song and the application will return only guitar videos of the song that the student searched for.Technologies used - MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, YouTubeAPI, SweetAlerts.Group Project - Emily Program FoundationEmily Foundation currently uses 3 full time employees to sort through hundreds of physical copies of volunteer applications and sorts these applications into 3 physical bins to represent where the volunteer might be in the orientation process which takes a great deal of manual input from the Emily staff.Our team of 5 created an application which makes this process completely digital. Our application contains 2 primary components. One component is a volunteer application form that captures all the information that The Emily Program Foundation needs with an easy to use interface. The other component gives the administrative team at Emily a dashboard so they can drag and drop potential volunteers into the 3 categories defined by the team, organize current volunteers, and send out mass e-mails to volunteers from a selectable database. Technologies used - MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, SweetAlerts, TextAngular and Passport for authentication.
