Responsible for the production and management of multiple lines of Treaty Reinsurance within the Americas.

Produce, manage, price, design treaty programs within my stated field of expertise.

• Led a 3 person team that interacts with actuarial, insurance and accounting departments to produce and manage a profitable $50M portfolio for a range of firms from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups.
• Produced U.S. domiciled accounts in these specialty lines of business.
• Achieved corporate goal of 12% R.O.E. for the portfolio.
• Assisted Accounting and Claims departments in the on-going management of the portfolio.
• Performed client audits of underwriting and claims units.

• Responsible for the development and management of a start-up operation in specialty lines of reinsurance capable of returning 15%+ return on equity for a $50-60M portfolio.
• Assumed additional responsibility in 2005 as Ceded Risk Manager working with Corporate Risk Officer to assess risk tolerance levels for individual insurance operations within Quanta and all operations.
• Led design, negotiation and placement of reinsurance treaties that protected insurance operations in the firm and worked with accounting, finance and claims in the management of those treaties.

• Led the management and development of the Marine Treaty portfolio which grew from UY $30M in 1998 to UY $175M in 2003.
• Market leader for majority of domestic Marine Treaty placements from 2000 – 2003.

Transferred to this division and assumed responsibility for the placement of Marine and Aviation reinsurance treaties for domestic and international insurance companies. Ensured that Accounting and Claims operated efficiently for each treaty.

Placed hull & liability insurance policies on behalf of US and international marine operations.
