Responsible for engineering solutions across a wide variety of world recognized brands including CNN, NBA, NCAA, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, and TCM.Significant accomplishments:• Led an effort in rolling out new DevOps strategy that streamlined AWS CloudFormation footprint across multiple brands to help assist application engineering groups and keep them ahead of schedule,. As a result, Engineering teams were able to deploy full stacks of infrastructure in a single week that previously was taking them about 6 months.• ATT expressed interest in a partnership between DirectTV and our NBA footprint. ATT wanted to give free LeaguePass subscriptions to anyone signing up for DirectTV for the coming season. I introduced a scaling strategy to the NBA Digital footprint to prepare for a gradual anticipated rollout of millions of DirectTV subscribers being given access to League Pass over a 12 month period. • Engineered a load testing solution for all brands in CDP, which was heavily leveraged in preparation for the 2022 Elections. Results demonstrated multiple potential points of failure, which were able to be remedied well ahead of time, resulting in 0 resiliency failure events during election periods.• Designed and engineered a solution that could evaluate performance characteristics, scan multiple assets of WBD, identify key areas for improvement, and deliver results to application engineering partners. • Partnered with leadership in CDP in establishing a mature operational excellence process for delivery. Engineered and operationalized a centralized metrics process, where all test results were funneled into a single observability platform. This allowed all stakeholders to observe how changes critically impacted their products.

Also architected, engineered, and lead teams to provide solutions that impacted a variety of areas including media fulfillment, ads, and programming.Significant accomplishments:• During an effort to switch payment processors for the NBA, my team architected and implemented a strategy to ensure all subscriptions would migrate successfully without resulting in any loss of revenue. Once operationalized, we observed that the strategy allowed the quality engineering group to evaluate all subscription migrations prior to rolling out a processing vendor switch. The result caught multiple failures which would have resulted in a significant loss in revenue.• The product team in NBA Digital wanted to increase clip generation during live events to accelerate fan engagement. Engineered a video encoding pipeline proof on concept to help the platform services group realize gains in short form VODs (clips) for NBA Digital, allowing them to generate 10x more clips per game night in season that was capable of delivering them to the editorial team during the game night to help promote fan engagement.• Redesigned the video fulfillment pipeline that was part of the media supply chain so that it could facilitate a significant increase in volume projected over the next few years. The engineered solution reduced syndication time from days to minutes.• Complete overhaul of digital video asset release system, reducing the release window time from hours to seconds. Allowed additional volume of VODs to be distributed, increasing the overall value offering of the company by 10x over a period of 5 years• Engineered long range planning system that forecasted 5 year plans for ad inventory space in less than 3 hours. Previous process took 3 weeks.
