Technology lead for four internal hedge funds, ranging from a global, multi-strategy, cross-product group, to more specialized groups, such as a quantitative trading group, with a small IT team. - Implemented Macgregor XIP OMS platform as the new trading and operations platform for the non-quant businesses globally. Project involved building custom add-ons within the OMS as well as feeds to/from XIP. Integrated with other broker tools and built custom commission tracking systems and other reports for each business from it. - Worked with quantitative team to roll out a number of new trading strategies (~15). Strategies ranged from real-time analysis/trading to once a day sampling type strategies. Additionally, migrated to a better in-house algo platform with better capacity, monitoring tools and back testing functionality. - Worked with other IT teams to define requirements and workflows to enhance equities P&L and risk systems for non-equity positions.
