Responsible for leading small groups to complete various tasks from the Department of the Army; responsible for Field Artillery marketing which involves the design and purchase of all promotional items, responsible for the Field Artillery cadet recruiting strategy which assesses 600-700 cadets per year; responsible for balancing the office budget of 1.2 million dollars ensuring all outreach, engagement and marketing endeavors are properly funded; responsible for daily office operations including maintaining the office schedule/calendar, tracking office tasks and leading meetings.- Managed the annual office budget of $1.2 million and modified the strategic marketing strategy and product line to find savings of over $400,000 - Improved Field Artillery cadet accessions by increasing the amount of Distinguished Military Graduates (top 20% of ROTC cadets in the country, top 20% of West Point graduates) entering the branch by over 100%- Created a recruiting strategy which required forming quick connections with ROTC leadership, West Point and their respective cadets around the country which led to presentations, engagements and outreach with over 4,000 cadets annually- Researched and drafted the initial memo outlining the opening of assignments for females within the Field Artillery (female assignments were not authorized)- Lead officer assigned to manage and maintain the launch of the Army Career Tracker for all Field Artillery Officers, a web-based program designed as a career management tool- Took over and restructured weekly office meetings, office calendar and task trackers to organize personnel tasks and responsibilities

Responsible for the safety and security of all personnel within the platoon; responsible for establishing and maintaining platoon firing capability; supervised all platoon movement, displacement and occupation; responsible for submitting and verifying all weapon location data and calculations; oversaw the maintenance of three M198 155mm howitzers, platoon crew-served and personal weapons, night vision devices and other sensitive items valued at over $5 million. - Selected above peers to serve as the Ft. Bliss/El Paso community Salute Battery Officer in Charge which was responsible for rendering honors during formal ceremonies for all visiting Generals, VIPs and national holidays in the greater El Paso area- Developed a platoon physical training program which resulted in the platoon having the highest Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) scores in the battalion, five members of the platoon having the top APFT scores in the battery and three members of the platoon being selected to attend Ranger School (extremely rare for an enlisted Field Artillery Soldier)- Reorganized the battery’s calendar and created a system for the creation and submission of training schedules increasing the unit’s efficiency and use of Soldiers’ time

Bliss, TxLed and trained a four-man Fire Support Team and served as the Fire Support Officer for an 80-Trooper Armor Reconnaissance Troop. Advised the commander on the targeting process and employment, capabilities and limitations of all friendly and enemy fire support systems. Planned, coordinated and executed all lethal and non-lethal effects to shape the operating environment to include artillery, mortars, close air support, civil affairs, public affairs and information operations. - Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of one M3A3 Fire Support Vehicle and all associated equipment valued at over $3 million. - Deployed to Iraq from September 2009 - July 2010- Chosen to partner with the Iraqi Army Battalion Intelligence Officer and developed a close, trustful relationship which led to the seizure of over 1,000 pieces of ordnance, procurement of many pieces of important enemy intelligence and capture of over 20 potential enemy combatants including the prosecution of one combatant who severely injured one of our Soldiers- Trained the 80 Soldiers in the troop on fire support operations to quickly and efficiently hit their desired target with minimal collateral damage
