Elected to serve as Executive Managing Shareholder, leading in firm issues both large and small. I also serve as Co-Chair of the approximately 70 lawyers in the Labor, Employment, Benefits and Immigration Section at Buchanan, a 450 lawyer full service national law firm.I represent management in claims brought by employees related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, leave, disability accommodation, labor relations, trade secrets, executive agreements and compensation, human resources polices, and employee-related statutes, ordinances and regulations.I have tried multiple jury trials and arbitrations and have handled injunctive proceedings before private arbitrators and state and federal courts. I have also served as a Commissioner to the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations (Philadelphia's EEOC equivalent), a member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and a Senior Hearing Officer to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's Disciplinary Board.I am committed to diversity in the legal profession. I served as the President of the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley and as President of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. I also served on the Comcast NBC Universal Joint Diversity Council and as the Outside General Counsel to the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.I also currently serve on the boards of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and the Minority Corporate Council Association.
