CurrentAs the Director of Quality Assurance at Mirci, I am committed to delivering exceptional clinical services. Collaborating closely with the CEO, I develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance practices across all clinical programs.Key Responsibilities:-Documentation Review: Monitor service documentation within medical records to ensure compliance and quality care.-Billing Oversight: Work with the practice manager to ensure appropriate billing codes and timely submission of clinical notes.-Auditing: Conduct regular audits of clinical records, maintaining detailed findings and clinician corrections for continuous improvement.-Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Mirci to facilitate the authorization process for clinical services.-Training Compliance: Oversee clinical staff training compliance, conducting necessary trainings and coordinating schedules with the HR manager.-QA Process Development: Assess the evolving needs of quality assurance and develop new mechanisms to ensure effective service delivery.-Team Consultation: Meet regularly with treatment teams to provide guidance on clinical issues related to quality assurance and coordinate compliance with CARF standards.Expertise:I possess extensive knowledge of clinical counseling methods, patient management, and the standards of SCDHHS Medicaid, MCOs, and Medicare. I also have experience with accreditation processes like CARF and Joint Commission. My ability to evaluate case records and provide constructive feedback enhances our quality assurance efforts.Through my dedication to quality assurance, I empower Mirci to deliver transformative mental health services that foster positive outcomes for our clients.
