Directed the operational aspects and provided oversight of the Radiation Protection Program for a 580‐bed hospital. Responsibilities included: Overseeing the operations of all radiation/radioactive materials using departments. Developed annual safety training programs for all hospital staff to include investigating, reporting, and providing corrective action for all incidents involving ionizing radiation and radioactive materials under a QC (ALARA) program. Achieved a high participation rate by medical staff to a radiation monitoring program by educating them of the importance of accurate monitoring and biological effects of radiation. Calibrated all hospital ionizing radiation equipments (X- Rays, CT, Scanners,...) and monitoring devices.
