Working with the CEO and Board of Directors (BOD), cultivates and solicits major gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, government agencies, and others through grant writing, solicitations, fundraising and planned giving campaigns.Essential Job Responsibilities:Leadership Provides direction and leadership to the organization and the BOD in the effective oversight and delivery of all RD activities.Strategic Planning Is responsible to develop and implement a strategic plan for single and multi-year RD efforts:a) Researches and analyzes agency, corporate, individual and foundation donor base.b) Prepares and presents for approval proposals for corporate and foundation support of the Clubs.c) Oversees planning of logistics for special events, including obtaining sponsorships and solicitation of gifts and all marketing materials.d) Designs and executes direct mail programs.e) Manages various fund-raising projects/initiatives such as endowments and major gifts.f) Directs and ensures appropriate CEO and BOD involvement in all RD activities.Marketing and Public Relations Maintain and develop professional and effective communication outlets that support the Mission of the organization.a) Includes the effective use of all social and digital media. Cultivate and build solid relationships with local media and government outlets.Donor Cultivation and Development Develop and maintain a detailed donor database. Ensure timely and effective communication with donors throughout the entire cycle. Effectively identify and develop new potential donors through targeted strategies.Partnership Development  Develop collaborative partnerships with other youth serving organizations, members, parents, families, funders and community organizations.
