I live to lead and align! I have 7+ years in Team building/management. Following a successful stay with the State of Florida I turned my success from that venture to a new thriving business in Re-Threads thrift and consignment. My co-owner and I turned a little known shop into a business that needed more space and more team members in less than 1 years time. It didn’t take long for others to notice our success and eventually was given an offer to good to pass up to sell the business. The timing was right, my wife was just offered her dream job in Houston, Tx so relocation was a must. The fire was ignited and my passion to excel in a management/business environment was stronger than ever. My first opportunity was with Walgreens, through certification I was able to work the pharmacy as well as manage the sales floor. With the natural disasters that followed in Houston I was able to work with the public and set up on-site immunization clinics. This ensured not only customer appreciation on a grand scale but also repeat patronage on a grand scale. I worked at three different Walgreens locations and pharmacies, each time improving overall KPI’s with exceptional team moral. In my leadership roles I was given responsibilities in every aspect of the business. Recruiting and on-boarding to development. I handled budgeting with influences in sales, costs, scheduling, overtime with efficiency etc. I really took pride with my team and their development in their positions across the store, their success was my success. I handled weekly partial inventories to ensure accurate ordering and total store inventories coming quarterly. My KPI results were routinely at the top end of my district. I have a competitive attitude and try to influence that healthy sense of competition to my team whenever possible.
