I am an Equity Research Analyst at Mako Trading, a Global Derivatives Market Maker. For the 2+ years that I have spent within Mako, I have been identifying event driven trading opportunities within the Equity Options Volatility Space and using fundamental research to assist in identifying these opportunities. I am also a former Quantitative Finance Student at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School. I currently hold a First Class Honours degree with a specialisation in machine learning, statistical methods, derivative securities, coupled with an undergraduate Banking and Financial Markets Degree from University College Cork. I was 1 of 8 students from University College Dublin chosen to represent the university in the Yale School of Management Security Analysis and Valuation programme. The programme required 3 individual equity and a sector report to be written over the course of the semester in conjunction with the Yale MBA Class of ‘24. I have also been awarded with multiple publications on the Yale.edu website for my industry report on the Semiconductor and Related Devices Industry and other individual equity reports.I am also the Former Treasurer of the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) society within U.C.C. and a previous Fund Manager of the Quantitative team within the Student Managed Fund.
