Over my 22-year career I’ve led the design and research for products that are used by millions of users around the world. In some roles this entailed collaborating with fellow creatives and makers. In other roles I grew, enabled, and directed teams to do their best work. At the end of the day, I draw deep satisfaction from achieving shared outcomes with others and energy from our innovation.I’m a systems thinker who approaches my work through a humanist lens. I specialize in creating compelling products within technical domains that are approachable for users at varying levels of technical proficiency. My leadership style incorporates compassion for those I work with, clear direction for the outcomes we intend to deliver, and enthusiasm for the work we partner on. I believe a healthy work environment is critical to a business’s success. I’m inspired by culture and human expression. This fuels my love of travel and my contributions as a board member of Carpe Mundi, whose mission is to empower low-income college students to embrace their full potential through international learning experiences and mentorship. To date, Carpe Mundi has supported 118 low-income and primarily first-generation community college students.
