I have worked in the food and beverage sector of the hospitality industry, primarily in customer service roles, for over eight years. Throughout my professional experience, I have enjoyed the pleasure of working in several different markets and for vastly different companies. Through the performance of duties ranging from serving special functions at a premier country club in the Outer Banks of North Carolina to entertaining fans after a ECU football game in Greenville, North Carolina, I have been provided the opportunity to gain a unique perspective into what actions equate to success in the Food & Beverage industry. In the future, I intend to apply the knowledge derived from my work experiences to my educational background in psychology to work in a Human Resources role within the Hospitality Industry; ideally, the Travel and Tourism Industry. My future educational goals are to maintain a competitive GPA in the completion of my undergraduate degree and to then enroll, and excel, in a highly-respected Industrial/Organizational Psychology graduate program in order to develop the skill-set necessary to pursue my goalsSpecialties: Customer service, research, interpersonal skills, composition, critical thinking, analysis, editing.
