This position allows me to develop and apply skills in Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, and Electrical Troubleshooting with the continual production of the RAM 1500 pickup truck and the launch of the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. I was tasked with developing risk assessments for work stations that contained electrical connections as well as managing product validation trials for new, emerging features. Each week I generate Key Performance Indicators for the end of line electrical tests for vehicles rolling off the assembly line and work with the Production and Engineering Departments to close out emerging quality issues. I install and validate the calibration files for the Transmission and Engine Control Unit Flash Stations to properly load the software into the vehicles for their respective parts. I analyze warranty data from FCA's global network of dealerships to determine the root cause of the issue and where emerging quality issues are originating from in the assembly process. I then work with the appropriate personnel including suppliers, engineers, logistics team members, and program managers to develop and implement solutions to solve the quality issues.

My position with the Genesse County Parks as a Locomotive Fireman has allowed me to develop the skills needed to upkeep and operate older steam powered machinery in the preservation field. The opportunity given to me by this position allowed me to develop proper management of a locomotive firebed and water level management in the boiler while meeting the demands and conditions of the load placed on the locomotive and the railroad grade.

This position offered me the opportunity to develop my skills with data analysis, data management and facilities planning. I managed repair databases for tracking damaged railroad cars across the 36,000 mile system and maintained databases for the Federal Railroad Administration reports on rule violations and fine payments. I with a cross functional team with the Norfolk Southern Engineering Department, I optimized locomotive and freight car repair operations utilizing Six Sigma methodology including evaluating time losses on freight car repair and streamlined operations of freight car repair shop, ther generation of maps for a locomotive GPS tracking system for railyards in Atlanta, GA, and expediting the launch of a new shop facility by producing updated diagrams and floorplans.
