It is a great honor to serve as vice president at the Utah System of Higher Education's largest, fastest-growing, and 5-time 'Best of State' technical college. At Mountainland Technical College, my team and I develop and support systems focusing on access, retention, and placement for over 6,000 students. My responsibilities include the supervision of the award-winning student affairs, communications, community affairs, workforce development, inclusion, Title IX compliance, and government relations teams.A former assistant commissioner of technical education for the State of Utah, I earned a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in curriculum, instruction, and assessment and a master's degree in higher education administration from LSU. My doctoral dissertation studies student engagement in transfer credit pathways created through higher education articulation agreements.
