Senior Columnist for 1912, a new publication of the Western Tribune which serves as a source for commentary, current affairs, and informed opinion, hosting everyday citizens, elected officials, academics, community leaders, and others to write columns on issues of interest. 1912 is a center of gravity for news and commentary that embodies a Western ethos.

Joe governs the Western Tribune's Board of Directors as its first Chairman, crafting important documents including articles of incorporation and corporate bylaws, as well as charting strategy for the organization through collaboration with the Board.

As the CEO of the Western Tribune, Joe organizes the activities of the organization to produce high-quality, well-sourced news and commentary with a focus on the American West.

Served as inaugural Editor-in-Chief of the Western Tribune during its existence as a for-profit corporation. Organized founding team for the Tribune and oriented organization towards future success.
