This process included reviewing provided construction drawings, completing job takeoffs, compiling equipment and material costs, and estimating labor costs based on analysis of past jobs. I also was tasked with drafting meticulously detailed proposals, and maintaining consistent and productive communication with building owners and general contractors.Prior to IHVAC, I worked as an Appeal Writer at Binder & Binder, a Social Security Disability Law firm. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to; researching and developing accurate, compelling case summaries and appeals, writing letters to clients, doctors, and Administrative Law Judges, and meeting stringent deadlines while maintaining the utmost level of accuracy, precision, and professionalism.I have also worked as an editorial intern at New York City's most widely-distributed free newspaper, Metro New York. During my time at Metro, I was responsible for providing both written content for the newspaper, as well as photographs and video content for the news outlet's website. My educational background includes a four-year BA in Journalism from Baruch College. While attending Baruch, I worked for WBMB Baruch College Radio, writing music reviews and performing the duties of a senior editor for the station's website, as well as a working with other members to promote station sponsored events. I primarily utilized numerous social media mediums, like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, in order to promote events.
