Responsibilities include ticketing passengers traveling aboard the bi-weekly Alaska Ferry, managing and maintaining the facility (including writing and submitting work orders for property and building maintenance), and developing and adhering to security procedures for the Port’s marine facilities. Duties also include training and mentoring new staff members. Includes interaction and coordination with a diverse group of individuals, including passengers, ferry crew, Port tenants, and law enforcement professionals. Includes strict adherence to established Port and Alaska accounting procedures. Requires extensive multi-tasking and excellent organizational skills. Member of the Port of Bellingham safety committee and health benefits committee. Back-up for Terminal Manager.

Part-time role as the head coach for the Meridian High School boys soccer team. Responsible for running all aspects of the program, including managing the annual budget, developing practice plans, coordinating fundraising, and working with high school students, parents, and administrators. Led team to district playoffs all five years, and twice to the WIAA state tournament.
