I litigated cases in Kansas and Missouri and the federal courts. I also regularly defend my client's interests during Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, and go to trial when necessary in an adversarial proceeding. I prepared wills and trusts and probated estates in Missouri and Kansas.

Helped individals and partners form start their businesses, this included forming: LLCs, partnerships, and corporations. Once running, I helped the business owner keep things running smoothy. This was done by prepareing employment agreements and transactional documents (including term sheets, contracts, purchase, and lease agreements). I also worked with real estate development professionals helping to form community improvement districts, home owners associations, and reasidental real estate development plans.

I argued cases before the court of appeals, prepared appellate briefs, motions, petitions, extraordinary writs, memorandums, letters to clients and attorneys, and performed legal research.Specifically, I researched the law and help prepare briefs for civil appeal and criminal appeals. This included eight civil appeals and two criminal appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, one civil appeal in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, two civil appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and one civil appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

I analyzed, researched, and answered business tax law questions asked by tax professionals. The questions required researching complex partnership, sole-proprietorship, LLC, small corporation, and business versus personal property tax questions.

Taught water safety classes to groups of twenty-five kids, directly involved with campers and organized entertainment. Promoted to supervise a staff of nine employees, on an around-the-clock basis, handled conflict with patrons, insured the well-being of over six hundred attendees each day as well as trained and certified new lifeguards.
