Greetings! My name is Joseph Fausto and I am a student at Cal State Fullerton pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications: Entertainment and Tourism and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with 2 Minors in Music and Public Relations. Go Titans! I transferred from Long Beach City College, I was an Honors student Quadruple majoring in Communication Studies, Hospitality Management, Psychology, and Sociology and I graduated in June 2024. Go Vikings!Throughout my educational journey so far, I have had the incredible opportunity to work in Student Support Services at Long Beach City College. As a former student worker and social media manager for LBCC Student Life, I gained transferable and versatile skills such as using Instagram, TikTok, CapCut, and Canva for digital content creation and marketing. I also enhanced my interpersonal and leadership skills by managing the front desk and maintaining a clean, respectful, and appropriate environment in the LBCC Student Union. Currently, I am a student worker for LBCC's General Counseling Department and I have been able to strengthen my communication and customer service skills by ensuring that all students get the assistance that they need by scheduling counseling appointments, responding to emails and phone calls, and answering general questions about LBCC and sharing my personal experience and knowledge about the campus and student life.In addition to LBCC, I am so grateful to Cypress and Cerritos College for allowing me to continue to pursue my passion for musical theatre! I've grown tremendously as a performer through my experiences working with highly qualified and trained professionals who have shared their knowledge and expertise as current and former performers in the entertainment industry. I will be graduating in June 2025 with an Associate of Arts Degree for transfer in Theatre Arts from Cypress College!I am highly interested in pursuing a career in the Entertainment, Hospitality and Tourism Industry. More specifically, I aspire to have a career in guest services, theme park management, social media and digital marketing, and/or casting and acting services. I have always been fascinated by the world of entertainment, tourism and hospitality.
