As an industrial maintenance professional with proven capabilities as a maintenance planner; I strive to optimize equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). I deliver comprehensive job packages for planned and scheduled work. Two examples illustrate some of my capabilities:• Planned the first-time replacement of kneader screw at Green Mill, including a job package with all instructions and parts. Also specified and purchased a custom lifting beam for this job. The lifting beam performed as intended and the screw was replaced per plan. The job plan and lifting beam have been used numerous times.• Planned replacement of bridge, trolley and hoist drives and motors on Carbon Bake crane. Each system required separate outages because of production scheduling requirements. No delays due to planning.I use a variety of tools and methods, incorporating features of TPM to identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement. To enhance OEE improvements I also promote Environmental, Health and Safety goals, provide technical assistance and communicate goals to the team. Other functions include Maintenance Parts management and managing the budget. As planner, I built and maintained a jobs library in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). These job plans are used as stand-alone jobs or in combination with others for jobs of a more complex nature. An electrical engineer (BSEE) by education with experiences as a maintenance supervisor and electrical maintenance engineer enhance my background understanding of how jobs should progress toward completion.
